hey "mothers" aluminum polish it the best stuff to buy!! its great and has a very good mirror image when ur down...get a clean towel and mothers poish..getcha a glob of mothers on towel and rubb in cycler patter and when u look at the towel it will be black buts thats just the chemical reaction to the polish and metal
i used 0000 steel wool with mothers power ball aluminum polish

works great... the 0000 ( 4 oh ) steel wool is really fine and with the polish it works double time.. made a stock 89 conquest tsi intercooler looks like abrand new spearco one
im bout to start polishing my shearer silencer on my shee this weekend. i will post up with how they turn out.
start by using aluminum foil and car or deep matal wax. rub lighly for first coat then rougher second time around. then i used my dremel with this polishing kit that walmart had. it came out pretty nice.
