pocket bike future build?

ok this winter i am planning to do a build on my terminator 50cc pocket bike,(same as X7 or any 49cc 2 stroke super pocket bike) i got it for free form the neighbor, right now the list is, needs cab and air filter, footpegs, brake levers, paint plastics, need to put some tire slime in the rear tire, need to scrap the electrical system, and thats it for now. i have run this engine once and it had carb probs so it ran crappy the the carb broke, and i'm wonderin if i should look for a new engine instead. ihave found a few web sites for pocket bikes but i'm still not shure what to do in the engine, i could buy a new 49cc engine for 130 bucks off ebay for it, or should i get the racing carb and air filter for it, also i was thinkin maybe run a bigger engine? like one off a X18 for any of you who have knoledge of pocket bikes, please help me.

I don't know much about them before but I would make that thing as fast as possible... that would be awesome.

yeah, right now imade the decision to put a 110 cc 4 poker in it, it said the engine is for a x7(which i just found out is the sames exact as mine exept a 4 poke). here it is

clutch and everything, gonna be fast, i'm puttin a 12 o clock bar on it too and some stunt pegs.

alsoineed ideas a on the foot pegs, are they on springs lso if they hit the ground they fold in cause i was thinkin about just welding on some thinck bolts as foot pegs.

i'm gonna mod the stock 2 stroke exhaust to run on the 1`0cc engine, so far i have taken off all the plastics, i still hav no idea on the pegs though, and i'm not gonna get brake levers, i'm gonna fab up a brke pedal for the rear and run the rear brake lever for the front brakes and get a clutch lkver, hows that sound.

just get a dirtbike thes lil pocketbike are too small i used to have one and im a smaller 16 year old and i was 14 when i had it if u really wantone get a x18 or i think they have a 19 now thos are alot bigger and nicer thes no poin of putting 300+ into one of these the dont sell for crap

good pont, all i know is that i can't get pics and i'm a big boy for 13, 5'10" and 140 pounds of muscle( yep no fat here). as i have said for the millionth time my internet will take 2 days to load 2 pics onto the internet cause the internet is too slow, also, can't i upgrade it to be bigger, i will cheack craigslist when i get the money, but i think a lighter smaller fram and the same engine as a x18 would be sick.

ahhhhh you got dial-up just like me probably yea.. if you have aim or somethin you could send the pic to somebody off the forum and get them to upload it for ya thats what i did

screw it, i'm not gonna buy that thing, i'd rather build my own then waste money on that, custom vs stock..........custom always wins.

1 question though why are you trying to get a lil pocketbike when you have a blaster? Why don't you get something for that like 240 kit or porting or something or if you really want another toy get like an 1990 and up or dirtbike much more fun to ride and you can ride it in many places. i kno from experience my friend had one of those lil bikes he wanted to race and i walked him of course and i rode it. It's not that much fun I'd prefer a dirtbike but to each his on.

yeah i guess, maybe scrap the thing and get smome money, those things just sound so fun, idk, i don't want to spend alll my money on my blasty this year, idk what to do,i'll look on craigslist for a dirt bike.

think about it you cant ride that thing hardly on dirty i jus think like a good dirtbike i've been thinkin about trading the blaster for a good dirtbike but i doubt ill do that but i do want a dirtbike

now i'm thinkin about gettin a pit bike, i think i might try to get my dad to scrap the thing and then i can get a new rear rim and tire for my mini bike and sell it, and have roughly 400 bucks, hows that sound.what type of pit bike do you guys like.... this thing is still an idea, but i'm think of maybe gettin a old yz 80 or 85 or a rm or kx, hows that sound?
