Pocket Bike Engine Trouble

ok guys, i just bought this pocket rocket (49cc) for 10$. I know it runs because i spray carb cleaner up the intake and it will run for like 3 seconds and then it will quit running. HELP PLEASE! what do i need to do for it to run

well if it will run with starting fluid (which you shouldn't use if its a 2 stroke) what does that tell you about fuel delivery?

Are you Alfonso Orielly's little brother? If you cant disconnet a throttle cable, you have absolutely no buisness messing with motors.

its just that idk why it wont run. i took the bowl off and cleaned up inside there and there was a little grime but not much at all. if it ran off the carb cleaner then idk wtf

Removing, cleaning and replaceing the carb shouldn't be beyond the scope of the average 14 year old, take it off, take the jets out, spray carb cleaner and blow it out.

i was referencing the fact that at your age, with a little research and care you can do anything to that bike that it will need, at your age i was working out of my garage doing mechanic work
