plz help

blaster starts then, revs high so i have to cut off. any idias? just changed air filter and fuel line and oil block off (yes i mixed new gas)

sounds like you have an air leak through one of your oil lines to the carb. they should be blocked off if you took the oil pump out.

i put a vacum cap on it. and this kind of started befor the pump removal, to get it to take off u have to rev high to get it to go. could this be base gasket?

this first started when it was hard to take off you had to rev high and it sputterd, now it starts and idles ok for asec then revs up until i got to cut it off.

Adjust your Air/fuel screw on the left side of the carb.Turn it in a 1/2 turn then start it. Keep going until it gets better. If it goes all the wayy in back it out to where you started and go the other way. If this doen't help you may have a air leak...another 1/2 turn in whatever direction seems to make it better.
