im sorry i dont no the proper terms for the parts but its the bolt that goes into the ride side of the case with the yamaha name on it farthest up and right below where it mounts to the frame, if the threads inside are screwed up when i pull htis bolt out what do i do then?

scratch that last reply its the plactic peace next to the yamaha peice, im sorry i dont no names of parts but yeah its the gray lookin one

can that be fixed? cause he put the wrong bolt in it it wont even go all the way in. but i wanna fix it and it leaks like a biotch

i thnk you're talkin about the clutch cover. you drain the oil, pull the cover, take a drill that is a smurf hair bigger than the hole and drill it. also drill the corresponding hole in cover. then you get a tap that is 2mm larger than the screw and tap the hole. get you a bolt that matches the newly tapped hole and you're golden.
or use a helicoil.

sounds like your talking about the oil injection cover. The plastic cover towards the front of the motor on the right side. If its leaking oil, its because of the injector pump or your oil injection block off plate. Put some rvt silicone on it and tighten it done, then put the plastic cover back on

yeah thats what my buddy did before me but the bolt that bolts it on on the front most part of it was jammed in there its not the right one and wont even go down all the way so im sure when i take it off the threads to put a new one in will be cross threaded so im stuck right now

and i think it leaks out of the spindle area
