Please help before I give up!!!

I've had this Blaster for almost six months now didn't run when I got it. Thought it was the carb so I got a 30 mm, I also got vito's exhaust, new reeds, new uni filter. I also checked for spark and it was strong. I got it to run in neutrual but when I would go to take off it had no power. I checked the compression and it was low and every time I tried to run it, it overheated to. Since it was .090 over i had it resleeved and new Wiseco installed. Now it starts and runs great in neutral and sitting w/ the clutch pulled in, only thing it hangs up a little after its reved up. When I try to go it has no power, no rpm range just seems like 1/4 throttle even if its floored. I have no idea whats wrong?????? PLEASE HELP

Whats your jetting?

My thought is that you have spark, you have air (sence you put a new pipe on it's not cloged), then it has to be fuel and your bike isn't getting enough of it. So I think its the jetting.

my old dirtbike did that ran good in neutral would rev fine but when you put it in gear it would die out and there was some water or some thing in the bowl i cleaned it out and it ran pretty good.

hmm indeed sounds like your jetting... did you do a FULL carb clean? blow out the jets, clean the bowl clean the float, etc. A video would help a bit too

hey does your bike still have a parking brake setup on the clutch? could be it

No parking brake it has the short cable.

Whats your jetting?

Pilot is around a 55 and Vito's recomended to start with a 168 main and I've tried a few with no different outcome. Remember the jets are Keihin so the sizing is different than Mikuni

okay , somewheres on here i heard that if when you disco the ebrake there is a thing on your clutch lever that screws with things

I know a Warrior I had did that but I didn't think blasters had a e brake safety switch?
