alright ,first off there is a search function for a reason, its not just for show
not tryin to look like an ahole but these are some pretty common questions
standard size is 66mm , it took me less than 30 seconds to find that for you
mm stands for millimeter
if you need a new piston , you will probably need to go up in size
is there a yamaha dealer local to you?
if so talk to them and they can bore out your cylinder for you and tell you what size piston to get
did you blow up the motor ?
I would do like 98blaster+4 said and have the cylinder bored out because if the piston cracked bad enough chances are you scratch the cylinder. Its your choice though so do whatever you want.
If the piston cracked u better get the cylinder bored, my shop does it for 30 bucks, if u put the factory size in it your going back to the same wore out motor with all the wear on the 10 year old cylinder
No prablem you'll prably only need to go 0.40 over maybe less, I'd take the jug to your local shop and have them bore it and order a piston to match, I have a vetos in mine with the high compression gaskets, its worked well for me
I got my piston off ebay and I had my Jug bored at a local shop in town... I got a friend that does all my boring for me now.... Go and get it Bored and Honed then have them measure your jug for you and then get on ebay and type in what you are looking for then you will be set... I got my piston off there for $75 better than paying $125 at the dealer...
