So just got my build done started it up to brake it in and its making noise. Sounds like piston slap. any Idea on why this might be hapining?? also if its 1mm over that makes it a 67mm right? so what is the next size up?
Did not use wiseco. This was a new build from ground up. The only thing I can think is I did not have it bored to the piston. I had it gauged by the machine shop and they said it was a good bore and they told me the size so I order that size piston.

yeah dude they didn't even tell ya to hone it or nuthin. you need to have it bored to the next size up. if they said it was 67.00 and it was a clean bore you should probably need a 67.25mm piston. don't go back to that shop. use one of the builders here. they are all trustworthy
I would pull the jug and have the bore and piston measured to determine the clearance. But have it done some where else.
Consider posting a vid, it might just be normal engine noise.
If clearance is to great, might be able to sell piston with low time to recover some cost.
