So, My Blaster's piston won't move, and I am told it needs new rings, so does anyone know how much they will cost approx?

is it seized?if so i have heard if you put marvel mystry oil in there in the spark plug hole it will unseieze it.piston rings are pretty cheap tho look on ebay but you gotta know what size u need
Well first you should get the cylinder off and see if there is any damage to the piston and the cylinder. Than go from there....
like floz said you need to take the top end apart and make sure there wasn't any damage done to the Cylinder. As for the rings we run them at $30.00 a set.
Ditto. You're not gonna find them for cheaper than 30 bucks a set. But if the piston and cylinder are fine, then just hone the cylinder and fresh rings will be a fresh top end!
are honing and boring the same thing? Would it cost alot? $300 so far is stretching my patience for this quad.
You guys need some friends in low places. I have a friend that is a local engine builder (race cars to personal cars). $20.00 bucks and she was done.
I know a mechanic fairly well, but I'm no exception to any other customer. =P

I can get mine bored right down the road from my house at a local shop for $35. $65 sounds like a rip off to me.
$65 is acctually about the going rate for a bore/hone and port chamfer. I try to be price competitive at $55 a hole. $20 would be about right for a hone job.
