piston ring sizing?

i took off my top end because it wasnt starting and i thought it was blown. turns out it was a busted reed. i only have 60psi of compression but the cylinder and piston are in perfect condition. how do i know what size rings to get for the piston? its not stock it may be a pro-x

there are no marking on top of the piston? if there are no numbers on it you will need to get it mic'ed

Yup, you'll have to get it measured. If you don't know what brand of piston you have, don't make life difficult for yourself and try to simply re-ring it. Measure the cylinder no matter what, but if you can afford to get one, order yourself a new Wiseco piston kit. You'll be much happier and have fewer headaches, IMO.

there are numbers on there, one liek 5 digit and one like 10 digit but i dont no wat they mean or how to find out
