Well I blew my motor a few months back and I finally got a garage to work on the blaster. I got both clips off the piston but I can not get the pin out. Anyone have any tricks to getting it out?

One can fabricate one from a long bolt that fits through the pin, a length of pipe just a little bigger than the piston pin.

A large washer on the end of the pipe and screw a nut on to pull the pin into the pipe.

You may have to grind the head of the bolt down to fit through the pin hole in the piston.

Take a look at the one in the link and copy the idea, it will cost less than a dollar to make.

Agreed with Blaaster. The piston will expand faster because it has more surface area.

My recommendation would be to support the rod so as to prevent additional damage to the bearings if you're going to try and knock it out.

Grab a set of XXXXL channel locks (460 will do) and put a shallow well socket against the pin and compress with the channel locks. It should budge. If not, cut it off.
