people with toomey's please read!

what main jet does everyone run with there toomey. i need to know people opinions. i was running the 310 they give you3 with the toomey kit. but like 6 months later it blew up and alot of people told me the 310 was too big?! but i dont understand why they would give it to you if it wqs too big..? lol what does everyone think?! im a bit confused:-/

I run a #330 main and the stock pilot, and 1.5 turns out on air screw. My carb is VM26 stock but bored 30mm and has a divider plate mod/custom idle screw with TORS head delete. I have the full Toomey B1 kit, using the UNI 2 stage filter but running no lid. Keep in mind Toomey kit supplies a #310 for the stock carb, but that is with utilizing their airbox vents, and not running with no lid. The removed lid seriously increases air flow, and jetting needs to be compensated for. My chops are perfect with the #330/no lid, just an FYI.

i was running the air box with the vents, and the 310 toomey gave me in my stock carb... lol thats my question why some people say its wrong

some say its wrong but gotta reember ever machine is differant..

330s 340s seem huge!! my 01 with the fmf and no lid ran a 280

yeah 280 is what im running now. i gott get my blaster going again then worry about what jet to use lol
