Paint remover help

the stock rims are steel, therefore must be painted, as for a stripper,, aircraft remover works pretty good, not very well as the other kinda stripper if u know what i mean.... lol

they carry aviation paint remover in arisol cans at napa. be careful to keep it off the tires though. no telling how it could affect them. I know it eats oil seals. you need to leave it on for about 45-an hour for it to work properly. also buy some thick rubber gloves that stuff burns your skin bad. it melts latex gloves

Yes.that stuff is nasty. It's best to have gloves, long sleeve shirt and a face shield . It does burn like hell if you get it on your skin.

any paint stripper will work. go to home depot, lowes or your locol hardware store and buy some Jasco paint stripper. Wear rubber gloves, apply it with a brush, let it sit until the paint blisters then scrape it off with a plastic scraper. Better put something on the rims after you remove the paint or they will rust.
