orange wire?

I just put on a new stator and coil. And the original owner put on a new cdi box supposibly. anyways I dont have spark and the tors is removed but i saw these 2 wires dangling there i dont know if there important or not the blue and orange wire.

Yeah Its grounded but its just dangling, it dont lead to anything, same as the blue it comes out that red plug and just sits there. I have absolutely no clue what they are for
 
No im not getting spark but a ohm test states that my cdi is not working. So i got one coming to me.
 
There is no way to test CDI units, unless you somehow got the specs from Yammy and had an oscilliscope, and were an electrical engineer. The only known test is to use a known good one for replacement.
Look in your Clymers manual for wireing diagram
 
I got spark thanks to a new cdi. But it still don't want to start and it don't sound like it wants to. any ideas? I do know my stator is out of timing so would that be a problem?

Wrong timing, depending on how wrong, may stop it starting.

Well I got it to want to start but I need a air filter before I go anymore. It seems I am getting to much air. Thanks for all the help
