OK dont get me wrong i love my blaster, but i also would like something bigger ( size wise) im happy with the power of my blaster..

anyways i have the chance to trade my blaster for a honda trx250r quad.. here is the kicker the all mighty liquid cooled 250r motor is gone and in its place is a honda 350x 3 wheeler motor ( 350cc 4 stroke 4 valve dohc)

and to be honest i have alove affair with the old trikes.. my first two atv's were a 85 honda atc 200x piped and jetted, and a bone stock 84 atc 250r, and always wanted a350x... anyways... should i consider tis ( as im calling it a 350r)lol or screw it and stick with the blaster..

i know thats kind of a dumb question on a blaster based forum ( even though there are a few guys with other wheelers besides blasters)

ima bigger guy 5'11'' 250 pounds and can leg press a cadillac! so i can throw the blaster around on the trails with out even trying, so i know i can toss a 250r around.
I'm just thinkin the 350x motor would have the low end nuts i need for my size..

thoughts??

pease dont flame me for the post.. i will be stickin around the forum as there is alot of good info and good people on here

I wouldn't do it. Its really random... And if you had an atc250r its not gonna be even close to that fast! A two stroke 250, 3 wheeler, liquid cooled. Versus a 250r frame and a 350x motor. (in which I have no background info on) Idk, I wouldn't reccomend it. I know someone that had a 250r(trike) and he said that thing would roast a banshee until it got to topend.

I wouldnt only cause the motors swapped. It could be a sh*t job or a good one. The thing is why would you want a 250r body, chassis, ect with a 4 stroke motor? IMO dont get it. I sold my blaster for a 660r and dont regret it one bit! IF your looking for a quad thats bigger, get a 450r, yfz, 660r, or a banshee.

if the mod has been gone correctly and everythings clean, I'd do it. I've seen a couple 250r/350x hybrids and there torque monsters. on an mx track or trail riding the 350x motor will give a 250r a run for its money.

well... got talked out of it, guess the 350x motors are not much more powerfull than a blaster, and there in a quad thats 400+ pounds, and the 350x motors are apita to start when its cold out... sooooooo and yeah the guy never got back to me, so isaid screw it!! my blaster got race cut fenders tonight ( fronts an rears simple but nice!) gonna extend swing arm and do a banshee axle, pipe, and sometime gonna do a cr250 dirt bike motor swap ( if must85's swap works out we wil be doing mine to )
cr250 is 50+ hp stock!

so blaster stayin with me! BTW.. will have race cut fender pics posted in a few minutes
