ok, so I'm at a cross roads. I MAY be able to get a KTM450xc for like 2 grand give or close. my buddy got a KTM 525 for like under 3 grand from the local dealership. so I REALLY want to get it if I can somehow swing it.. but a kid also wants to trade my sounds for his SDG pro mini (125cc pitbike that's pretty setup to do actual riding)
the kicker is the SDG won't cost me any money and I could get it like tomorrow... the KTM I'd probably have to get a small loan from the bank or something and show up with $2gs + cash and see what I can do. bring my buddy too since he got his for like 2500 or whatever... but I THINK he said he did some work for them is how he got it so cheap but I hit him up on facebook to find out. if I can get it for $2gs I really want to get it.. I'm not sure it was foreal but the sticker price said like $10gs and the dude told me they'd do $4500 out the door. but seeing as how my buddy got it for $2500 I'd do it for that kinda coin. I'm not a big 4 stroke fan but it's setup to go already I think it has long travel and such. it has Ohlin shocks and maxxis razor MX on some kinda black wheels and what looked like a titanium header. but for the money (IF I get it for like $3 or under) it's ALOT of bike brand new.. I don't see getting anything on this level for this price new elsewhere... my buddies blaster was the cheapest bike I could find ($900) for a lightly modded blasty. and my other buddy has a banshee ful stocker for $3gs that's been sitting in the yard under a tarp at times for over a year and probably hasn't been started that long lol. so that's a crappy deal I'm better off getting one from someone else...
anyway, for free it's hard to beat a 125 pro mini... (well outta pocket free since I already have the sounds and I'm not even using them anymore) but I will be VERY hard pressed to get another 450 for such a good deal... even if I blow the motor down the road it's still a sick rolling chassis
I could drop in a used R1 motor at which point LOL... anyway, I feel the KTM IF I can get a deal on it is a solid bike. but if I can't I'll possibly consider the SDG... but not before trying to get the KTM I think... I just don't know
