Only runs at half choke

Still no luck. Put a carb kit in with a bigger jets and all new parts, no luck. Changed back to the stock reeds, no change. It runs at a high rev (slight pop) when half choked. Then it bogs down, pops louder and dies when I close it. I woundering if it the motor? It sounds like its just a bit out of time, with the poping and back fireing. Is this possible?

it is in the intake no doubt how clean is the air filter and clean the filter and the carb again and find out wat happens

I've cleaned the carb 4 times, but I do have a question about the uni filter. Is it supposed to have some sticky sh$$ that only comes off with gas? I did try to clean it last week. But that stuff does not come off.

gas will clean it, if soaked for a few minutes, but be quick, it supposedly will melt the glue used to hold the filter together, then wash real good with DAWN dishwashing liquid, let dry, then definately RE-OIL it with a good foam filter oil
but filter cleaner works best, available at your local dealer, ebay, rockymountain atv, ect.
try it for a rev or 2 without the filter, just to see what it will do, dont get overly happy revvin it and fry a piston, just a few will tell the tell

Ya awk, I pulled if off and tryed it, same result. What are your thoughts on my earier post, about the timing. I don't want to bog you down w/ ? When I bought this motor the ad was for a blaster motor with a "fresh top end need fly wheel and stator". Did put the fly wheel or stator in wrong and mess up the timing? It bolted in like the key lined up but at this point anything is possible.

i'd pull the flywheel to be sure, mighta slipped/sheared the woofruff key ??? did you tighten the flywheel nut good, as in impact wrench good, and the stator will only go in one way, unless it was reamed for a timing advance, but unlikely to cause your troubles,

ya know, at busco last year, we chased jetting issues on mr305's bike for 2 days, had the carb apart about 30 times, with about 15 very good blaster tuners workin on it, ended up bein a plug wire/boot, maybe we arent dealing with a carb problem ??????
