Guys since i got the new Toomey B1 Set-up, I now have a used FMF PC2 silencer. I have a 1993 Honda Elite Sr. SA50 Scooter. I was wondering if it might be possible to cut the old silencer off the scooter and cut and weld the FMF PC2 on it....

Is welding an exhaust difficult? What are the chances of it leaking? I wonder how much of a performance gain it would be ? Especially on a 50cc Honda Scooter?

Answers would be appreciated! Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!

i wouldnt put it on a moto 4. anyways dont expect a race scooter lol, but exhaust is somewhat challenging to weld, get all the oil from where your welding, stick a rag in it so you dont get any sparks in your packing and catch it on fire. prep it good and put it on a LOW heat setting i mean like 160. make tacks around the pipe and get it perfect. the best way to weld pipe with a mig is by making a bunch of tacks to make a weld. just fill it with tacks and grind it down and you will be okay. if you own a tig theres a new story.

Its a mig. I actually dont have the welder myself, but at my work, we do. I cant seem to find any exhaust for the moped, so i might just need to find out if i could buy a different muffler. maybe from a FMF SST Silencer. They seem to have a short pipe that would connect to the expansion pipe!
