Im looking at OKO carbs and see plain ones and ones with a power jet.I am not sure about the power jet. would it be better to get the plain or the power jet one.I have an FMF pipe/V3 reeds and a K&N filter. Will be doing fast trail rideing so I don't want to lose my low and mid power.Im looking to go with a 30mm.

the power jet is supposed to keep you from haveing to rejet as much its more adjustable someone a while back posted a link to just the power valve kit an from wht i read about it it seem to be a good idea i havent heard any first hand opinions from people that have bought it

Come on people. Can't anybody give me more info on this carb or tell me a good 30mm carb to run?Any input on 30mm carbs will help me deside what to get.

I have a 30mm Keihin PJ I will probably not need.
Also, what I am running on my bike is my stock VM26 bored 30mm with an added divider plate done by RBDesigns, click the link in my sig, he does the whole deal for $125, awesome, and use your stock boot, intake, etc.

That sounds like a nice setup.I don't have the money for that rite now.I would have to get a card(treads are striped on mine).Pay to ship it.Pay for the mod.Get a T.O.R.S delete kit.I'm going with the OKO for now.I'm having a very hard time getting info on what size and on a power jet.I'm looking at a 30mm .I hope it's not to big.I don't want to lose my low and mid power.

With the 28-30mm carb upgrades(and anything bigger) you are going to see slight low end loss, but mid and highs make up for it. As I stated above, with the divider plate mod, this alleviates all low end loss and tricks the system into believing it is much smaller, at low end power, to produce the utmost crisp throttle responses and low end hit. Very nice mod to any larger carb.

Can that plate mod be done to a OKO plat slide carb?

Yeah, mostly all throttle cable controlled slide valve carbs can be modified with the plate...

And as I described, the plate reduces the carb size during the first half of throttle settings, which enhances the sensitivity and the low speed circuitry. This gives you better lower end torque and better throttle response. It actually increases carb flow and increases signal strength on the low speed, hence low end "oh yeeeahz"!!!!
