OKO 30mm?

Hey Guys,

I've searched for a while now and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a starting point on jetting for this carb. My mods are..

Open airbox
UNI Filter
FMF Fatty and Powercore
Milled head
4 Degree Timing Advance
Boyesen reeds

From what little I could see it looks like maybe 140-150, but can be certain.

i'm running a 150 main and a 48 pilot, the pilot is a little lean, and the main seems about right, but i'm going to need richer when it gets cooler out

im running a very similar setup. 55 pilot and 158 main. wouldnt hurt to start a little rich and then back it down... especially with a milled head. whats your compression like?

Compression is at 155.

thats pretty good. if i was you i would try a 50 pilot and a 155 main and go from there. im running bigger jets because i have a 240 kit.

Yea its 155-160 cold and 145 hot.

Got it all tuned up and running great. Wound up with a 48 pilot 150 main and clip in the 2ND from bottom slot. Thanks for all the help guys.

On a side note this carb really woke the blaster up. It will power wheelie all the way through 3rd now.(with a 4in extended swingarm)

isnt it awesome when u can fianally get a carb tuned in right and it makes it a totally diffrent bike...good job dude

Yea man it is a great feeling. I really struggled with this one though. Turns out I was rich all the way around. I have a tone of jets to show for it!

lol i had a wrong needle in it and i pulled my hair out trying to get it right....put a new needle in it and it awoke the true potential...so sick now lol

what needle did you have in your 30mm oko? i am struggling with jetting right now.. i started with a 145main and 45 pilot. im up to a 55 pilot and 155 main. factory oko needle 3rd clip. and it bogs on quick acceleration. if i just punch the throttle it bogs then takes off... it clears up if i run with the choke on... but then in runs super hot... i am having a major hell of a time with this thing.
