well my piston shattered,and the crank was a little hard to spin and i thought it was crank bearings,but now when i got the clutch cover off and took out the gears, the crank spins great,but the counter weight is getting stuck on something,the case broke and i got it welded could this have done it ,what could it be.

Possibly. Honestly, and i say this in the nicest way possible, i think your trying to get out of splitting your cases. If thats it, i can understand that, but dude, if theres something wrong with like that, split the cases. If you put a new piston in and everything else, and then you think its all safe and sound, your bottom end might be f*cked. I suggest just splitting the cases. In the long run you will be much more happier with the outcome of your motor.

^ exactly man. you asked this before, you HAVE to open her up and check the counterbalencer.

i am splitting them im waiting for the flywheel puller to come,but i was wondering is itr possible.
