I picked up a blaster and just finished the top end and I want to elimiate that oil tank and put a kit in it where can I get this kit ,local shop , can I make this kit ?.I have to pick u a book on this , anyhow how much gas does this tank hold ?. do u put crankcas oil in this ,How ? I am not going to start this until I have all the right answers ,do not want to take it apart again anytime soon although it was a easy job to do and only cost me about $130 for parts , and that is $65 for the 30 over bore cut .

u can do it with out the kit .. just take off the oil tank, cut the lines coming out from the pump to the carb then block them off and block the oil line that went into the carb, so no water/mud can get into the carb .. pop off the clutch cover take the c-clip off and take the white gear off thats on the inside of the clutch cover, and pull off the oil pump and take the guts out .. i think thats all u need to do .. i think there is a diy on how to do it ..

I took out that gear and did not touch the pump do not have to it wll not do anything without the gear to turn it , blocked the hoses , runs great now with the oil in the gas tank I feel so much better ,I picked up another blaster and the guy told me it needs piston rings ,and guess what the hose was off that pmp was not getting oil ,you will not know this until it blows your motor ,
