oil seal

I have to change the seal behind the drive sprocket. Got it ordered, will be here Tuesday. Is there anything special I need to know about this process? Is it a tough job? Also replacing a spindle and lighting coil. Any tips on that also would be appreciated. Thanks.

just pick out the old seal and pop in a new one

Put a little oil on the new seal before you put it in.

also wrap the splines of the shaft with a few rounds of electrical tape at the very end so the shaft splines don't catch the seal ..then remove the tape after the seal clears that area
