It appears to be coming from were the shifter shaft goes into the case but I could wrong , oils costing me a small fortune , wondering if anyone has thought on putting silicone on it to seal it

replace gasket. From what i can see its a gasket leak, replace it dont try to half ass on it or youll regret later.
i was told id have to split the case to replace it , if thats the case id rather half ass it , anyone know?
nah man u can replace that seal.......just pick the bad one out and slide the new one in....u have to take off the shifter tho
anyone know what its called so i can look for one? part number ? anything like that? Thanks for the replies
i think u get the whole seal kit for like 15 to 20 bucks..........or the dealer might have it......its just the shift shaft seal
Ditto. And its always good to have the extra seals that You dont use lying around for when a different seal goes out.
