ok so for some reason the blaster has been leaking oil faster and faster and is now leaking out completely over night. i used degreaser on the engine and pressure washed all the old oil off then left it sit level to see if i could figure out where it was coming from but that didnt help, all i could tell from that was that it was leaking somewhere from the bottom of the bottom half. not sure if its the clutch cover, middle of case, oil plug, or where the sprocket comes out. which would be the first parts you'd tear apart to try to fix it? which of those places have gaskets ill need to replace?

also theres burnt oil marks like its leaking out the cylinder where the exhaust comes out is this normal?

if i'd take this to a shop and ask them to find and fix the leak how much would i be looking at spending? if i did take it to the shop should i take the whole blaster or just the motor?

If it is completely draining out then I'd say you have quite the leak. I would check the oil plug and also look for any cracks or spots where you can see oil running out. If it is draining out that much I don't know if it would be a gasket I could be wrong though.

crank case oil leaking out the bottom of the bottom end. the crankcase leaks almost empty overnight. there is also premix oil leaking out where the exhaust comes out it looks like but that may be old from before i put the little metal flange in.

The oil leaking out of the exhaust isn't really a major problem. You probably just have a seal that went bad. Mine leaks out of the same spot. The oil leaking out of the crankcase sounds like a bigger problem. Its hard to say where the oil could be coming from. I think you are just going to have to pinpoint where the oil is coming from and take it from there.

would just sending the bottom end somewhere for a rebuild mostlikely find/fix the problem? anyone got any idea about what i'd expect to pay for a bottom end rebuild? im just in a weird spot atm cuz i dunno anything about fixing things and doing wrench work, the buddy that helped me with everything so far has alot going on atm with life and cant be around to babysit. so im on my own with this one with no skills lol kinda frustrated.

also i've sat it somewhere level and timed things and its taking about 3 days to stop dripping.

you could do this, split the case and reseal it, thats one thing, probably want it to be your last, pull your drain plug check it to see if there is any damage to the insde threads and the drain plug threads, pull your clutch side off and inspect. start there and let us know, you need help we are here

no matter what, i would NEVER advise takin your ride to a stealership or other shop. do the work yourself so you know it's done right. plus, if you plan on keeping a toy that functions on an engine, you need to learn this sh*t.
i'd say stand that biotch up on her ass (tip: put her in gear and lift/push the front end) inspect the drain plug and see if you can spot a leak from that angle.
most likely it's gonna be a crank or countershaft seal. it's possible that the case halves aren't sealing properly, but highly unlikely.
2smoker85 said to check the clutch side first, but i'd do the ignition side (the left side) first since an oil leak will be much more evident since it's supposed to be dry in there.
then check the countershaft seal by pulling the front sprocket off (remember to put some blue on the sprocket bolts when reinstalling....VERY IMPORTANT).
then check the clutch side seal. it's also possible to be leaking from the shift shaft seal, but the remaining ones are higher up and prob wouldn't drop that much oil.
