I rode my blaster for a little while yesterday and noticed that my oil injection hose was off the carb but I'm premixing anyway, I'm running both for the break in. But yesterday while I was riding my blaster would run fine in 1 2 and 3 gear but when I got to 4th and 5th and I got to the top of the gear it would start to bog out and kinda pop, would that be because my hose wasn't hooked up so it was sucking air in. The hose was only off for about 15 mins at most but I'm premixing so it got oil, was that the cause of the bogging?

Ok thanks guys and hudack it wasn't bogging until the line fell off it ran fine until I hit a seasonal road and it was all washed out and bumpy as hell, I forgot to clamp the line back on but hopefully we didn't have any damage there and I'm prolly gonna be unhooking the oil injection soon cuz I think she's close to being broke in and it doesn't need to be on

If you were loosing alot of the mid range power the same thing happen to me this weekend after we rebuilt the blaster. bogging way down in mid range...no power ban...all we did was take the carb off and clean it real good..had some grit not much..then checked the coil for spark and it was on tight...took the plug out and it looked nasty...way rich (running amsoil 40:1)...I would suggest a new plug and of course a oil block of kit...and only pre mix...you dont want to blow it again...oil injection is worthless
