My blaster motor is making a nasty tap/tick noise, so I put some premix gas/oil in the tank and pulled the oil delivery line from the carb to make sure it is working properly. How much oil should be dripping out of this line? Looks like there is just a drop coming out every couple of seconds at idle and light rev. Is this ok or should there be a consistent flow? I know everyone recommends blocking the oil injection system, but i do not have the bypass/block kit yet, and dont want to spend the money on one yet if the motor is about to shoot craps...

you do not need to spend money on one. all you need is a quart of oil. what you do is cut the oil lines by your carb, plug them, take the right side case off, make sure you take off your foot peg first, remove the c clip and plastic gear from your oil pump and remove the lines, take off your oil tank, unplug the sensor, and premix 32:1. i never took off the plastic gear or c clip cause i didnt feel like it, but if you dont want to burn up your oil pump then you need to.

also make sure you block the inlet on the carb, or it will suck air, run lean and fry
