wasn't sure where to ask this question but i am going to change the crank oil in my 2000 blaster. What oil does everyone use. I've heard a lot of belray 80w but i can only find it online. pep boys and auto zone sell lucas, valvoline, royal purple gear oil also 80w. Will that work the same?

You don't change the crank oil.
You do change the transmission oil. You can use ATF type F, Valvoline has a 10-30 atv and 10-40 Motorcycle oil (I've used both) any motorcycle dealer will have 2s trans oil or 4s as long as wet clutch compatible. Any oil in 10-30 as long as it doesn't have friction modifiers, and is SM or less rated. No hi-milage either (IIRC)

Yamalube 10 w 40 ok to use? What would be the difference between 10 w 30 and 40? Getting ready to do oil delete so will have to crack case and drain.
