oil block off

going to put new top on today want to block off oiler &mix untill i get kit just cut both hoses &seal good?

i just did this to mine also.the previous owners just cut the hoses and started premixing, but im pretty sure thats why it burned up the rings. best bet is to take off the oil pump cover, remove the clutch cover and remove the whole pump and either make a block off plate or buy one.the pump comes off with a couple screws and two clips, very simple mod.

want to get it going today cut both lines &seal all 4 ends with tank still in place should work wont it?

you can just use the pump itself for the bock off and leave it in there. make sure that you plug the port in the carb where the injection runs to

i was thinking about a block off kit later after breakin just want to get in going for now I dont trust the oiler so I dont have to change trans oil again

make sure you take off the drive gear on the pump, and plug where the lines are connected
