odd noise?

ok so im not sure if this is supposed to happen but..when ever my quad is running (idling) when the piston reaches the TDC it makes a snapping noise..its hard to explain

How do you know its TDC when it happens? And it it effecting how your balster is running?

because my blaster idles VERY low..and every time it hits TDC it makes a pop noise..and now reciently its been making this snapping noise

is there loss of compression? maybe its a blown head gasket and thats a leak.

has it been doing this since your last rebuild? Might it be your balancer hitting the case?
