Not nuch power and doesn't rev please help

Help someone, my blaster is very sluggish and doesn't rev very high it has a lack of power and will not get into the power band. I had adjusted the pilot air screw thing before it started the problem so could that be it, i pulled the plug out and its wet and black but it has hardly any power and you have to jab the throttle to make it rev high please help. Do i need to put that screw back to stock or what??

well the way you described your plug.
sounds like youre running too rich...that could be a reason for bogging out

may need to rejet your carb

yeah thats what i was thinking i will re set it back to how it was before and see if that makes a difference thanks for the help

logic says that if you change something and it starts running poorly... change it back to the way it was.

any news on how this went for you? im curious.. because if it isn't that im thinking you may have a cracked or damaged reed, but to eliminate the air pilot screw thing.. i suggest you turn the screw in all the way (not tight though cuz that will hurt the seating of the screw) and back it out to 1 and a half turns or 2 turns out and adjust from there just don't turn it out more than 3 turns because the screw may vibrate out
