hey guys this is my first quad and it is a 98 blaster well what i need help with is the motor that was it went bad so my friend who races blasters gave me a motor that he picked up for 750 it ran great cause we ran it before we took the motor off the quad so we put the motor on my quad and now it starts but it wont idle at all it dies out if i dont give it any gas so what i was wondering is we had a fmf fatty pipe on the motor before but he still need that so we just used my stock pipe that i have on it do you think that this could cause it to not idle. any help would be much appreciated thanks

just wondering if you used the same carb that was on the good motor or if you used the one that was on your blown up motor.
oh sorry forgot to mention that we used the carb that was on the good motor and i believe it is a 30 or 32 mm carb us there any way to tell
your going to have to rejet it for the stock pipe one idea. second have you tried removing the air box lid and see how it runs then. that carb was probably jetted for that fmf pipe not for a stock pipe
