got sick of having to use the suburban to take the kids anywhere, so i sold the ranger, an bought a 96 mazda 626 sedan.. 2.5 v6 5 speed 4 door, fully loaded, leather a/c moon roof, aluminum amrican racing rims, new front head, timing belt, new brakes all around( fronts done 10 min before i picked it up) new t stat, tune up, right ball joint, struts, alt and starter, tires,

198k miles!!! :o:o:o

runs like a champ though, seriously runs and drives like a 60k mile car.. ill get pics of it tommrow after i polish the wheels
 
you just cant keep anything can you??? LOL...but what ever it takes for the fam...i know how that is...
 
sweet dude, my friend had one of those went 225,xxx before the clutch finally blew out

my buddy bought this car as a fix it and flip it for profit, he ended up driving it for 7 months, because he liked it so much, hes always been into mazda, he has a 91? 626 that started life as a n/a auto and has been a turbo 5 speed for a few years now( mx6/ 80s probe gt turbo 2.2)
he just put a good size frontmount on it and a hybrid turbo, there were 2 ihi turbos the small one on the probes and mazdas and a bigger one on the thunderbird turbocoupes, he bought a t bird turbo from me like 4 years ago and finally got it built, car should be out in a few weeks,


iv only drove this car for like 2 hours but its sooo nice, rides nice handles nice and comfortable, and the power is surprising for 198k miles

I use to drive oneof those in the salvage yard I use to work at. I beatthe sh*t out of that thing an it would just keep running. Drove it for 8 months an it had 387xxx some miles on it an the body started to finally apart so they smashed here up. Then they put me into a 1500 4x4 5 speed gmc that ithink was a 94 an it also had over 300,000 miles but still ran. No heat or airbut it was all right until winter came
 
haha my mom had one of those back a while ago... hers had a pretty good clutch, would spin all of first, second, and grab a bit of third on demand. there a pretty good car, only reason she sold it was to buy something newer, think it had around 300 000kms when she let it go and it still ran like a champ.
 
dude i had a 90' mx6 gt it was almost fully built. i put all the goodies on it i loved that car 2.2 sohc turbo, i put a big ihi subaru turbo on it and tweaked it up to 16 psi that thing banged hard for what it was.

he has owned afew mx6 gts and a few older probe gt turbos, his current one is a 626 lx that was a n/a auto now its 2.2 turbo 5 speed, has afull 2.5 inch exhaust, front mount intercooler,(still has a/c also) and a 'hybrid' using athunderbird turbo coupe compressor side with the mazda exhaust side, fast stool and good cfm
 
damn man your always getting, getting rid of, or trading something lol i about sh*t a while back when you wanted to trade the shee for a blaster. if only i were your neighbor lol
 
the motor is probably mounted transversely and they're referring to the head closest to the front of the car
 
yes front head as in v6 fwd... head closes to radiator was replaced, installed my system in it today and smoked my nice 3 week old kenwood amp, thought it was the wiring i put in today, but hooked it up on my buddys car and same thing, ... traded him one of my old ten inch mtx's for a 600 watt dual, tell ican get my kenwood fixed
 
not worth fixing. throw it out and get a better amp imo

why bother wasting money on a cheap amp. get one of the old bullet proof amps from one of the big companies and you can install it and forget about it :D I had an oldschool audio control system 1 amp and it was SOLID. the thing had to be like 20+ years old and it still sounded choice! most have built in processors depending on which model some had epic center's some had spatial restoration and such.. good amps maybe something worth looking into...
 
Nothing wrong with kenwood, it was loud as hell in my ranger, an idk how it got fkd up but I aint happy about it, the dual amp I got in there sucks, my sub isn't even workin, its a jl they like to excurd
