no powerband

its got blow buy cuz the rings are bitched from lack of oil, start there. run 32:1 with a good oil, and i bet it will run better and have some power again.. alot of guys on here have ran there at 100psi or lower with out to much power lose, but it wil need a rebuild
 
blow by occurs when the explosion that occurs in your engine combustion chamber, causes fuel, air and moisture to be forced past the rings. and if your overbore is .040 then ur piston kit should be .040, you will need another bore because of this, your cylinder wall is probably all chopped up, you could have even fuct it bad enough to where you need to resleeeve it, and you are better off buying a new motor at that point.
 
all are results of unproper break in, and lack of oil as stated wayyy to many times in this thread... contrary to what ppl by you may be running, i think most of us know whats best for lubrication on a blaster
 
yeah, alot of us on this forum have owned several blasters and i know from personal experiences what it taked to fry rings/pistons/cylinders because i learned the hard way, ive never had a owners manual or manual of any kind, i more less learned through trial and error and i can tear the top end off a blasty in around 15 minutes, pullit in the garage, shut it off and 15 min later its apart, thats from running them lean, using the wrong oil, all the dumb crap i did with my first blasty when i was 17

simple as this 93 octane fuel. or 94-95 depending on location, and a good quality 2 stroke oil run at 32:1 which is 4 oz oil to 1 gallon of gas.. makes for a happy blaster..

for oil, klots r50, klotz super techniplate, pro honda hp2, yamalube, castor 929? i beleve is what its called.... try to stay away from amzoil, and any cheap sh*t like pennzoil, lawn boy, stial ( sp?) spend the money on the good sh*t and mix it right and your blaster will be happy, you treat it good it wil treat you good

What's wrong with AMSoil? That's what i run and i've never had a problem and it doesn't smell gross or anything.
 
i ran amzoil interceptor for one tank.. threw the rest of the bottle in the garbage, it stinks, it takes longer to clear out, its not a clean burn oil, and i founled aplug on that one tank.. switched to pro honda hp2 and i pulled almost 30 perfect running hours out of aplug, .. talk to flotec about amzoil.. i do belve he told me ones it gums up the ports? passages and what not.
 
I know yamalube does, and polaris does, but my motor has stayed very clean with AMSoil acutally, and i haven't fouled out any plugs, i change them probably every ten hours, but i do that on all my bikes. I haven't had any problems with it at all. It's been a pretty good product for me
 
Really? I wonder if i have something different, i don't think its amzoil, i thought it was with an s, i dunno. haha. I'll look into it, but i pulled my motor apart the other day and it was all clean and shiny and my ports weren't bad! so i dunno, and mine smells like 2 stroke, haha, my brother runs polaris synthetic in his, and that stuff smells like crap i think

my wifes trail boss.. we ran pure polaris blue, syth blend, that with 93 octane none ethanol fuel spelt like cotton candy
