New to this forum i have a 2004 blaster special edition and i have no power to it. I have replaced all electrical parts except for the stator. If the stator is the problem what is a good one to get and where to get it at thanks

Yeah, what lack of power are we talking? No spark? If your bike still has the TORS system installed, chances are that this is your problem. I bet your stator is OK. That being said, get a volt meter and check it. You can get the specs by searching here on the forum.

Good luck, and tell us more about what's going on...

it is electrical i got it this way from my brother he said he was riding it one day and it just cut off on him and correction it is a 2003 and the cdi, coil, and wiring harness have been replaced and it has no spark.

Throttle Over Ride System. That giant weird shaped box on top your carb cap. Try putting new spark plug. And if no spark then that would be your ignition coil i would think?

Yeah, from what it sounds like, your TORS system is acting up. This is a set of safety interlocks that shut off the spark to the engine if it 'senses' that the throttle is stuck open. It is notorious for failing and causing all kinds of headaches. Search on here, read up on how to get rid of it, and you should be up and running again.

i mave no power at all i remember when i used to kick start it with the headlisght on they would kinda come on and then off while kicking and it doesnt do that anymore but i will look into what yall are saying and let yall know what i find and thanks for the help

the box? like the brain below your headlight? and you can tell if thats not there beacuse there will be nothing there. Just a hole the doesnt have a screw in it. But could u take a picture by any chance?

you dont need to buy that kit to get rid of the tors just disconnect the switches and you should be good to go. ^^ remember its an 04 and didnt they put that boox thingy in the cdi unit on 03 and up?

im not sure why it would do that and im not that familiar with electrical stuff but are all the grounds connected and all the wires in the right spots?
