newbie with a big problem please some advise

I recently took my blaster to a yamaha dealer for a top end rebuild,new clutch,carb clean,fuel lines.

2days after the chain snapped and my guess is it hit the gear shifter which broke the casing around it.

Now the chain is stuck in the front flywheel,when pulling the shifter it sounds to change gear.but i need a indication,should the dealer have picked up that the chain might break?or if not can it be repaired how much will it cost and is it advisable?

well if your chain is fully in your case then you will have to get some new cases for it
