New to the forum and just bought our first quad (2003 Blaster). Is there any way to remove the oil line (and then put it back on) to the carb. Had a bunch of junk in the tank and need to clean the carb, but would like to soak it off the bike. And yes I have read everything about removing the oil pump, but not ready to do that yet. Thanks

should come right off but I would definitely remove and premix and if you do you must plug off the oil injection port on the carb or it will cause a lean condition

There is a brass collar that has to be pushed back over the line, when that is done the pipe should come off pretty easily.

Unless you need to remove the oil injection for some reason like a different ratio, leave it on the bike.

The things to watch for if you continue to use oil injection are, flipping the bike and causing an air lock in the pipes.
Always be clean when adding oil and keep the tank above half full if you intend doing wheelies.

Yes, the brass collar was throwing me off, but I got it off and everything is soaking right now. Thank you all for the quick responses!
