im not just new to the forum, im new to quads all together. i just got my 03 blaster about a week ago and i dont know a thing about it. one thing i do know is that the person before me did not take care of this fine machine so i may be asking alot of dumbe questions on my journey to blaster recoveryville.

well, this is the first time im posting and just wanted to tell everyone this is the best site on the web for basters (im sure you know this).. but within one week of watching this forum i picked up so much valueable info i feel like ive owned this thing for a while and cant wait to get tearing into it.I:I

if any of you here live in the camden/glouseter county area of new jersey feel free to hit me up on here if you have parts for sale or just want to hang with another blaster enthusiest.

plus honestly i have no idea were to ride around here at all:(

heres a list of things i know the blaster needs so far to get her runnig right

first, since im not an experienced rider i need a rear brake mine is toast the disk is fried and ther arnt any pads on it at all and i think the caliber is seized

second, t.o.r.s needs to be removed, i think this may be part of the reason its having a hard time to start among other things??

third, i want the oil injection removed to run the 2 stoke oil you guys talk about. because i dont even know if its working or not, so i may be doing damage to it already.

fourth, the carb needs be to seviced, its definetly not tuned right and probably filthy inside.

fith, i cant tell if the clutch is bad or not because i havent even got it out of seconed gear yet because i have nowere to ride.

sixth, needs a chain, chain guide and or tensionor.

seventh, front left outer lip of the rim is bent so bad it will only hold air for a short time

eighth, the rear tires are way to wide, the are rubbing the frame but they look new atleast.

and the list goes on........man this really sounds like i have the biggest piece of crap but im sure in time ill get it all worked out with the help of the forums.

Welcome to the forum. I am new also only been on a couple weeks. We live in Newark, DE and go to Blue Diamond. My husband is on the forum and knows alot about blasters (bikes in general) he has an RM 250. I don't know too much about all of the mechanics, I know some basic stuff but I just love to ride! Every time something happens to mine, I panic thinking it is something major! LOL good luck and look forward to talking to you on the forum. By the way, Blue Diamond was a website: www.bluediamondpark.com

welcome to the forum. you may think you have a long to do list on your quad but my first quad was a blaster and they are fairly easy to work on i think. just take your time and she will be ready to go before you know it.

My wife forgot to mention that Blue Diamond has three tracks...one for MX only....one for MX/ATV's...and one for 50cc bikes.
