whats going on everyone,i have a 00 blaster that i bought about 3wks ago and love it!! currently live in kingwood tx,ive been doing alot of reading(search) on the forum before i joined.one thing i didnt find i need help with is,how many kicks does it usually take to start.takes me like 10-15 kicks to get it to start and thats with me giving it alittle throttle.it runs dam good once i get it to start,idles smooth,doesnt lack power in any gear.the person i bought it from said he had the top end rebuilt,but yall know how that goes "bs".any leads or advice will be gladly appreciatedI:I

do you have the choke on when you fist start it. does it do the same thing after running it or will it start up one kick after its warm
I'm new to atv's,what do I have to do with the choke....once I get it to start I have no problems afterwards refiring it up.cold start is what I'm having issues with...thx
 
Welcome to the site bro............

As for the choke it is carb it is a black plunger type device. You pull it out when you cold start the qaud. Then once it warms up you push it back in......

Mine took a while to start too the first time, scared the hell out of me. I forgot about the choke, old CR125R had the choke broken off. Haha. Try the choke first and if you have a question just ask. These guys are great. These guys make it so that you don't have to take it to a shop to do simple stuff too.

Thanks for the info....as soon as I got home I pulled it out of the garage and pulled the choke,started right up after the 2nd kick!!!!!
