First off hello all! Glad to be part of this forum now. Well my question is I installed a vitos 240 kit of my 2000 blaster and its got a B1 toomey pipe and uni filter with no air box lid(which I dont have anyways). Anyway I installed the needle in the middle from recommended specs on instrustions and also used the 330 main and the only pilot jet the kit came with which I didnt even pay attention to what it was. Anyways the bike rips fine through all the gears til it starts to get wrapped out then it kinda boggs but not bad. Ive been playing with the air/fuel ratio and it helps but cant get a right combintaion to keep ti from bogging when starting to get wrapped out. So I was wondering if anyone has this same setup of somewhat close setup that runs good and let me in on what your jetting is and/or what you could maybe reccommend for me. Thanks!!!

a smaller carb could be choking it but a plug chop is a good idea also. larger carbs draw more volume with less velocity. the smaller carb will pull harder down low but hinders top end performance. id look for a carb off a 125cc 2 stroke dirtbike thats what i did.

What do you mean by wrapped out? Does it do this only in 6th gear? Does it do it if held in 5th? Stock carb? Next time try pulling choke halfway. If it gets better you're lean. Worse=rich. Same=fuel delivery or other problem. Check screen on petcock and check vent on fuel cap. If you have fuel filter is it clean or new?

Yes it is a stock carb, but I thought it'd work fine with the right jetting, thats what the kit says atleast. I havent done a plug chop, could anyone let me in on what that is? @ Larry's Shee by wrapped out I mean revved out and it does it in all the gears but more in higher gears not so much as when its in 3rd or lower.

tppmeys 330 main jet suggestion is for a stock cylinder, not a vito's 240 bbk

get that main jet way bigger or you'll be on here askin "where do i find bbk pistons"

better yet get yourself a 35mm carb

i woul;d not run that bike again until this very lean main jet/too small of a carb issue is addressed, or it's gonna fry
