ON YOUR FIRST TANK...Vary the engine speeds alot,both up and down during break in (lots of "engine breaking" under load).You can go wide open throttle,but just briefly. Lots of engine speeds and shifting. Continue to blurp the throttle constantly to get lots of fuel/oil in the engine.

Who did the port work?
What size piston?
Who ever did the porting...what was the "turn around time"?

You might be okay then , I prefer to know that it was leak down tested , heat cycled and plug chopped to confirm jetting after a fresh build , I have yet to do a Plug chop as my jetting is fairly close , I'm Just now on my 2nd tank of fuel now so after that then I will plug chop to Confirm !

Re tension the head and jug bolts.

What premix ratio and is the airbox lid off or on?

What main jet are you running, bigger than #270 I presume.
