OOPS left my stash there.... SIKE it's abrasive material that goes inside the tool to clean the plug. It's smaller than a grain of sand feels like fine sand actually.

no waste, i used one of them for years, my ex father in-law had one, they work great, but will not fix a fouled plug, only the torch works for "cooking" the oil out of the electrode, but this could come in very handy for cleaning plugs between "plug chops"

i'd be sure to "carb clean" ithe plug after cleaning with this, we wouldnt want any sand gettin in the cylinder

For sure then blow dry..............

I have one of them laying around the garage. I have not used it yet. I want to try it on some bolt heads and see what it does.

My friends grandfather has one, it basically cleans any crap out that might be down in the plug where you can't clean normally.

this is about all i would use it for. i have one also and wont use it. its not worth the risk of sand into the cylinder, plugs are cheap.

i like the idea of it i usaly keep an extra plug but the time it takes to get a ride cause i cant drive on my own yet to the auto parts store to get a plug blah blah blah yada yada this would probley be alot quicker and plugs my be cheap but add up.
all the plugs you have used and see how much it would have been i think there like 3 bucks x that by like 10 thats 30$ you can get something very interesting for 30 bucks with these blasty and there shouldnt be a problem with sand in the cylinder.
if ya blow em off with some compressed air you got a very good point i wont argue there but if done right i dont think it would be a problem

if yall are worried about $$ get a day of riding in on my machine.... 9 bucks for a pint of pro honda hp2, and 16 bucks for 5 gallons of non ethanol premium... and 9 bucks a quart of mobile 1 oil for the trans..... ( clutch cover leaks so i gotta add half a quart every time i ride.. im over 30 bucks for 2-4 hours of riding!!!

the lt250r will drink a full tank of gas in a just over a hour the way i ride!! ( on the pipe or idle lol)

as stated before it will not help a fouled plug. oil attracts dirt or sand for that matter i would be VERY sure to clean the plug with carb cleaner before and after and also use compressed air. make sure you check DEEP into the plug for any sand that might have gotten compacted into the plug.

Ok i tried it and it works pretty good actually. Here is a video. of before and after. I will say if i had more abrasive material it would of worked quicker.
