Hello, I am glad I found this site, I am new to the Blaster community. Just recently purchased a 1997 Blaster from a friend. I have raced Sportbikes for several years, And decided to give it up and buy my daughters a blaster and dirtbike. so I am eager to learn alot of info on these little monster.

The guy I am buying it from is doing an engine rebuild and all new bearings. Hopefully I will pick it up this weekend. He is still waiting for a few parts. Pics will come hopefully this weekend. dirtbike is getting new sprockets and chain along with new rear spokes. The guy that had it prior failed to tighten the spokes for several months and broke several of them. Nice paint job on your frame, Looks sick man. I spent thousands of dollars on my race bike so I know whats it like to get the mod bug trust me. My race bike was wrecked 3 times and my first time was at 140mph and it cost me an Airlife ride to the hospital and around $60,000 in medical bills, Not to mention several plates and screws later thruout my body.

Welcome man! Start reading around here, and you'll have more ideas than $$ in your wallet in no time. lol.

I have a feeling your kids will be arguing with you over who gets to ride the Blaster before all's said and done... :D
