im new to blaster rebuilds and before i got on this forum i had planned on rebuilding the top and bottom end but some good advice from showed me i dont have the experience to do the bottom end. when i do the top end is there anything i could add on to get a little more power than stock without going to a big bore kit or spending tons of money

best bang for the buck will be a redesigned head, having the cylinder ported would also be great for power and not cost a ton of money.

you take your head, or any other stock blaster head and send it to your builder of choice. they will redesign it based on the fuel you want to run and your riding style

i helpful tip about picking a builder:
1) just dont look at their site, talk to that builder
2) ask them all the questions you have, like turn around time, price, why they do it that way, ect.
3) talk to more than one builder, check out your options.
4) talk to people that have had work done by the builder(s) you are interested in and get their option on the work

FYI, someone was selling a redesigned head just the other day in the for sale section, I think.

Even without posting or top-end mods, you could add a pipe, delete the airbox lid, aftermarket filter, and re-jet as necessary. A slightly larger carb is a bonus too, i.e. PWK28 or OKO30.
