I have just did a upper engine rebuild on my daughters 1997 blaster i just swapped out piston , cylinder . when you start the bike every thing is good but when you shift into first gear the darn thing is going back ward instead of forward . i know this bike dont have reverse so whats the deal how can i fix this with out having to spilt the cases i can be e mailed at jody_vigil@yahoo.com

Well what is happening is that your piston/crank is fireing in the rong direction and this make's your gearbox turn in the oppisite direction when in gear, check that your coil and timing is set up rite

IMO!!!!

use the search feature and dig around, this has been talked about a few times. i belive the problem is a sheared woodruff key if i remember right.
