Hello everyone I'm new here I usually post at everything2stroke but i'm not getting much help or it could be they don't know what else i can do. I just got done doing the top end on my 94 blaster and I got the following mods done as shown in my signature. i got all new gaskets and torqued everything and used a fresh tank of 94 oct mixed 32:1. In my stock carb I started with a #30 pilot and #300 main and the air/fuel backed out 2 1/2 turns and the clip in middle position. It started after 4 kicks I ran it a bit but it bogged out in the top end bad and it wouldn't idle. Next day i took it out and got it idleing a bit took it out and it went crazy on me it revved so high i put it and neutral and was gonna run from it thought it was gonna blow. I pulled the choke out and it stopped. I let it sit a bit and it did the same sh*t. So next it just wouldn't start so i checked over some things cleaned the carb and changed the jets i went smaller on the pilot and that didn't work. so i kept the #30 pilot and went to a 290 main b/c i noticed the plug would just get wet and I have to pull it out and clean it each time. so the 290 it would start and die so then i moved the clip down more to lean it out and it would start and die I also adjusted the a/f and it would start and die. So finally i went with a 240 main b/c i dont' have a 280 or 270 so i put the clip all the way up to make it richer and it would start and die. So needless to say I don't know where to go from here. I also forgot to mention during this i tried starting with the tors plugged in and without to see if that was the problem. I am going to get a compression tester tonight the only thing left that I could think would be the base gasket. Any ideas? thanks and sorry so long
