maier plastics if you go to their direct site they always have closeouts,,but ur limited in color choice.. i think they are the only after market company that makes blaster plastic..you can always get a nice set of oem plastics on ebay
stock is fine with me. when i bought the bike it had new front and rear plastic but it was purple and the tank cover and cowl is orange but had been painted white with a orange seat. looks like crap
you can paint them you know, dont need to buy new plastics, paint works awesome if you do it right
im highly against painting plastics but thats just me..it always turns out looking hoakie regardless how well its been done
not very hard to paint plastics, grab some krylon fusion, sand paper, and your ready. im gonna get a race front black and get a new rear plastic and paint it black
Krylon is not gas and oil resistant. Get rust-o-leum engine enamel from the local auto parts store. Its gas and oil resistant and will bond to plastic great after a liitle 1000 grit or better sand paper, you can bend the plastics without any cracking or splintering. My few cents
iv spilt some gas on my tank cover after some krylon and it held right up, but i did do 2 coats and 2-3 coats of clear
