Just bought a 99 blaster and i have a few questions about oil changing on it.

The fill hole for the crank case is on the case it self, correct? that take yamalube about 3/4 quart? and the drain for it is under the case right?

the fill hole under the seat that says engine oil fills what? and what do i use for that and how do i drain that or is it the same as the other?

thanks for answering my prob common questions, lol

Also the gas mixure is 32:1? i am heading out today to get some fresh gas for the bike and i didnt see anything in the owners manual about the mixure

the filler hole on the case is for the gear oil and yes 3/4 is correct this oil only lubricates the gears clutch and what not. the filler on the back is for 2 stroke oil only. u dont have to drain it , it is a consumable and is mixed automatically with the fuel at the carb. u dont have to worry about mixing the 32:1 , the set up u have will do it for you. i would suggest in the near future you do away with the oil injection and premix your own fuel.

it wont say in the owners manual about your mix. The blaster was set up to do this for you. The first mod you will want to do is get a block off plate, and mix your own. reason bieng when the self mixing stops working it usually causes damage.

ya just dont waste your time with the oil injection system. block it off, and pre-mix yourself.

second use a good gear oil for the tranny. Bel Ray Gear Saver so something like that. you wont regret spending the extra money on it.
