new motor, tranny oil leaking

So i got a new rebuilt motor this week cuz my old one is trash. anyway when i filled up the transmission it started leaking out of this hole on the left side. it looks like it should have a screw in it so i checked my old motor and there wasn't anything in it either. could there be a bad seal? I'm not sure why it would leak through there

didi you put exactly 650 ml of oil in, also did you leakdown test the motor after the rebuild?

didn't do a leak down but i put exactly 650 in. il take a picture tomorrow its at my work

ok take a pic. but do a leak down, you could be running lean and that would blow the engine...

its this larger hole right behind the stator cover. it looks like its threaded, is there a bolt that goes in there? my old motor didn't have one in it

Yup, with a sealing surface which covers the boss.
