Just rebuilt mt blaster and runs spot on for few hours then my clutch just stoped workin i put quad in van and drove home to find 3 bits on my clutch basket had snapped find the bits tho and dident cause any other damage . But when u installed it all the basket looked mint neally new the only thing i can think is wen i did install the other parts of clutch wer springs go on the of the bilt holes snapped but still thought it would work the same ?? Is this why its all gone bad ? Has any 1 out there got a replacement for me thanks

Did you install the conical washers, the flat washer, etc behind the basket? Not the first time I have seen baskets break the ears off.

Thanks for reply and yes installed all washers the right way the basket looked in good shape and for it to break in 3 places ? If i could upload photos it be alot better

Use tinypic to upload the photos, then copy and paste the img code here. Stock baskets do not last forever. Alot of the times the gear and the basket will have play in them. If you hold the gear in one hand and try to spin the basket in the other hand you will most likely notice some movement. There shouldn't be any movement by hand. I snapped the smaller gear of the basket last year along with breaking a tooth off the idler gear just from kick starting the bike. I would say time for a new basket and or get an aftermarket basket.

With the broken spring positioner I feel that the irregular pressure it caused has allowed the plates to grab the worn fingers at an unusual place making them snap off.
